Clinical integration is gaining tremendous popularity in the wake of a changing healthcare environment. Unlike the 1990’s, when alignment was almost exclusively focused on employment, there are now myriad models of integration, many of which stop short of full employment. This includes more limited forms of integration, which begin to form an alignment between physicians and a health system, to full forms of alignment, including professional services agreements and employment.
Join us on Feb. 23 to get the inside scoop on the latest trends in physician compensation –especially the plans and models that respond to the move to integration and alignment. Coker Group is known for their expertise in the area of physician compensation, and these new emerging models are ones that physicians, practice executives and business managers need to understand. In 90-minutes, Aimee Greeter, from the Financial Advisory Services division within Coker Group, will get you up-to-speed.
Behavioral Objectives:
- Review the compensation models most commonly utilized in limited, moderate and full alignment models
- Examine the current trends in physician-hospital alignment and how to blend new methods and incentives within your organization’s existing model
- Explore how integration, quality measures, and non-productivity metrics affect physician compensation
- Understand how Accountable Care Organizations may affect compensation models in the future
